Medical Laboratory Assistant in Sheffield

The Department of Clinical Chemistry is seeking to recruit to the post of Medical Laboratory Assistant. The successful individual will join the Specimen reception team at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The post holder will be involved in the receipting and booking in of patient samples and other basic laboratory work. We are seeking an individual who is a good team player and can work in an organised manner in this busy area. 


Trainee Assistant Practitioner in Doncaster

Due to the increasing workload pressures on the Microbiology department we require one fixed term Trainee Assistant Practitioner to support our laboratory for 9 months.

You will be expected to support the Trusts response to COVID by carrying out a variety of tasks including; Maintenance and calibration of equipment, data entry, liaising between wards, the IPC team and the Microbiology laboratory and monitoring and distributing COVID testing supplies.


Service Assistant in Doncaster

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Doncaster Royal Infirmary in this varied and interesting role within the Services Department as a Service Assistant. The following positions are listed below.

·       Position 1- Zone 3 and 4 (Team 2, Ward 18&19)- 12 hours per week working 17:00 - 20:00, 5 days in 7 including Bank Holidays /Weekends.

·       Position 2 - Emergency Village (CT) 9 hours per week working 06:30 - 09:30 3 days in 7 including bank holidays and weekends

·       Position 3- Emergency Village (CT) 12 hours per week working 06:30 to 09:304 days in 7 including bank holiday and weekends

·       Position 4-Central Team (Waste Clean down) 12 hours per week working 17:00 to 20:00 4 days in 7 including weekends and bank holidays

Ward Clerk in Doncaster

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and energetic individual, who works well under pressure, is keen to learn, a great team player but is also self-motivated and can work independently when needed. The post holder will be required to assist with all the admin and clerical duties on the Acute Medical Unit based at the Doncaster site.

There may also be a need for cross site cover at Bassetlaw. Due to the nature of this role a high degree of confidentiality and discretion is expected. This post will require 24/7 cover which will include weekends and the following shift patterns: 07:00 15:00 , 14:00 22:00 and a night shift which is 21:00 07:00.
