Welcome to Apprentices, Students and Trainees!
The South Yorkshire Regional Excellence Centre is rolling out new health and social care roles, helping patients and providing employees with the opportunity to progress. Roles such as, Trainee Nursing Associates to treat patients and free up time for Registered Nurses, and Care Navigators to direct patients at GP practices to the most appropriate service for them.

Nursing associate is a new role within the nursing team. We sat down with some of South Yorkshire’s inspirational Trainee Nursing Associates. They spoke openly about their personal journey, the challenges they face, the rewards of nursing, and the enjoyment of their role.
